Screen protectors are designed to enhance, protect, or change the surface of your device screen depending on the product finish selected. Different finishes offer different benefits, such as improved clarity, glare reduction, privacy, impact protection, or a more textured writing feel.
Before purchasing or applying a screen protector, it is important to understand how the selected finish may affect the appearance, feel, and use of your screen, as well as how refund eligibility works once a product has been used or applied.
Each screen protector finish is designed for a specific purpose. Because of this, the screen may look or feel different compared with the original glass surface of your device.
Depending on the finish selected, you may notice:
A change in screen texture or smoothness
A difference in glare, reflection, or brightness
A slightly different touch or stylus feel
Reduced visibility from side angles on privacy products
A different writing or drawing experience on textured finishes
Minor changes in optical appearance depending on the display type and lighting conditions
These characteristics are usually expected and are part of how different screen protector finishes work. They do not necessarily indicate a product fault.
Different finishes are suitable for different needs. For example, some customers prioritise optical clarity, while others may prefer glare reduction, privacy, impact protection, or a more paper-like writing feel.
Before ordering, we recommend reviewing the product description carefully to make sure the selected finish matches your requirements.
You can also use our Product Matrix to compare the available screen protector finishes and better understand their main features and differences:
If you are unsure which finish is most suitable, reviewing the Product Matrix before placing your order can help you make a more informed decision.
Our screen protectors are designed to preserve normal touchscreen functionality where applicable. In most cases, touch input and stylus input should continue to work as expected after application.
However, the feel of the screen may change depending on the finish selected. This can depend on:
The device being used
The screen protector finish
The stylus or pen type
The stylus nib material
Writing pressure
Writing angle
Personal preference
A different touch, swipe, writing, or drawing feel does not automatically mean that the product is defective. It is often a normal result of the selected surface finish.
The thin design of film-based screen protectors is intentional. A slim film helps preserve the original display experience, touchscreen response, and stylus sensitivity while still providing the intended benefits of the selected finish.
A thin screen protector should not be viewed as a sign of poor quality. Film-based screen protectors are designed to be lightweight, flexible, and suitable for a wide range of device screens.
Applying a screen protector requires care, especially on larger screens where alignment, dust removal, and bubble control can be more challenging.
Before applying the product, we recommend reviewing the application instructions carefully. Application video guidance is available here:
Small bubbles, dust particles, or alignment issues can sometimes occur during installation. These issues are usually related to the application process rather than a product fault.
Please note that failed applications, misalignment, trapped dust, or bubbles caused during installation do not usually make a used screen protector eligible for a refund.
Screen protectors that have been used, applied, damaged, altered, or discarded are not eligible for a refund.
This is because once a screen protector has been applied, it can no longer be returned in unused and resellable condition.
Before applying the product, please check that:
The product is correct for your device
The selected finish matches your requirements
The size and shape appear suitable for your screen
You are comfortable with the expected characteristics of the finish
You have reviewed the application guidance
If you are unsure about the finish, texture, appearance, or feel of a screen protector, we recommend ordering sample swatches before purchasing the full-size product.
Screen protector finishes can look and feel different depending on the device, display type, lighting conditions, and personal preference.
Sample swatches can help you compare different finishes before placing a full order. This is especially useful if you are deciding between options such as Vivid, Silk, Paper, Impact, Privacy, Privacy Lite, or other available finishes.
